New Boy (Short Film)

New Boy is a heart-warming short film set in the near future. Mike - a new elementary school student finds himself secluded and lonely as the other kids are playing with expensive augmented reality toys that his single mother can’t afford. Mike develops an obsession to do whatever it takes to buy the toy so he could finally make friends at school. The film was selected to 49 international film festivals and also represented England in The Commonwealth Games 2018 in Gold Coast, Australia as part of Commonwealth Stories on Screen Festival.
